Sogeti to present multiple sessions during IBM Interconnect 2017

Sogeti is scheduled to present multiple speaking sessions during IBM Interconnect, March 19-23, 2017 in Las Vegas, NV. Interconnect is IBM’s Premier Cloud & Mobile conference, offering 4 days of keynotes, training,  certification and expert talks from 2,000+ sessions, 200+ labs and countless networking opportunities. Sogeti has been accepted by IBM to present 3 speaking sessions and 1 tech-talk, as well as showcase some of our latest innovations utilizing Watson in the innovation playroom—a hands on demo environment for conference attendees.

An Automotive Manufacturer's Journey to Predictive Maintenance in Industrial Plants Using IBM PMQ (Session ID: 3780A)

Session Abstract: Production in the automotive sector today is very efficient, but still needs to go further. One way is through predictive maintenance and manufacturing intelligence. Sogeti High Tech designed and deployed an end-to-end solution based on the IBM Predictive Maintenance and Quality (PMQ) platform for all the plants worldwide of a major automotive company. The solution takes data from the machine, uses big data as a middle layer, and then leverages a customized IBM PMQ system. It has been validated during a pilot phase and is currently being deployed all over the world. This session will present how we developed the solution and customized the IBM PMQ platform, and the outcomes.

Session Abstract: Hear how one bank has created an efficient certification environment that helps them improve quality and scheduling, as well as reduce costs. They had faced "bottlenecks" in the development and test process where work slowed down or even stopped. In this session, you'll hear best practices for finding more defects earlier, improving scheduling and reducing costs by leveraging test automation and service virtualization. Service virtualization allows the testing team to simulate what is not available so they can test in certification.
