Sogeti High Tech signs a deal with Alstom

Sogeti High Tech implements its simulation and automation skills that are an integral part of the Capgemini Group's Digital Manufacturing service offering.

Paris, March 13, 2018 - Sogeti High Tech, a subsidiary of the Capgemini Group dedicated to industrial engineering and technological innovation, have been selected by Alstom to carry out the testing and commissioning activities of the new autopilot systems in the framework of the "Avenir Metro" program of SYTRAL. The latter aims to increase the transport capacity of lines A, B and D of the Lyon subway to cope with the increase in passengers to 30% in the coming years.

 

Sogeti High Tech brings over 20 years of experience in maintaining the conditions of the SYTRAL D-line MAGGALY automation system. The collaboration between Alstom and Sogeti High Tech guarantees to SYTRAL a seamless control of the network and automation in the new autopilot system. It is based on the Alstom Urbalis 400 solution which is already in service on more than 1,200 kilometers of metro lines worldwide. Sogeti High Tech teams dedicated to technical and industrial IT will carry out the testing of all new autopilot systems, as well as the migration and switching tests of the existing system.
