The client collects data related to the energy consumption of its customers through a smart thermostat called TOON. The client found that the data quality was not homogeneous when collecting data and their architects were unfamiliar with the methodology. Furthermore a new BI architecture was needed.
Sogeti developed an architecture for Big Data solutions and an approach for successful architectural trajectories. They also provided on the job training to architects (training on the job). The new and modern BI architecture is now in line with the data management principles.
The client now has a vision and architecture to leverage big data to increase customer intimacy and better efficiency, which is directly in line with their mission. Additionally, the newly trained architects and the improved BI architecture has brought the client in lines with the standards of data management.
