Michiel Boreel, Global CTO, Sogeti

Michiel has worked in the IT Industry for over 21 years and since 2007 has held the role of Chief Technology Officer with Sogeti. He is also a part of the Management Board of Sogeti Group globally.

Michiel started his IT career at a company now owned by Sogeti advising about the reverse engineering of legacy information systems and migration estimation methods. Adding commercial responsibilities, he worked for a couple of years as an account manager for clients in the financial and telecom industry. Now in the role of CTO, he is contributing to the innovation in the group.

After two years of advisory work on large scale restructuring of both public and private firms, he made the transition towards the information technology industry. Performing several assignments in systems programming and security he learned about the more technical side of the profession.

Based on his research and books, Michiel is often asked for his engaging and visionary speeches or in the role of Master of Ceremony at national and international events. Additionally, he works with many clients to create in-house innovation workshops where, through a strategic dialogue, emerging technologies are translated into specific business innovation opportunities.

Monojit Datta, Technology Specialist, App Innovation, Microsoft India

Monojit has more than 15 years of experience in building end-to-end design and architecture for large-scale, critical applications across various platforms and domains.

He started his career with traditional client server application development for medium to large enterprises, building scalable, robust architecture for them. With the exponential book of Mobile innovation 10 years ago, Monojit shifted his focus towards creating cross-platform, omnichannel experience for the customers. Since then his key responsivity has been in designing Intelligent, Innovative yet secure solutions using Mobile and Cloud technologies.

In his current role in Microsoft, Monojit works closely with customers & partners to educate and help them in their App Innovation journey with various AI & Cognitive services on Azure and newest technology trends like Bots & Serverless. Monojit is passionate about doing research and creating various reusable tools & resources. He is an avid blogger where he writes about his work on these fields as well as delivers workshops and webinars in multiple forums.
