Women’s Forum Global Meeting 2014

Leading for a More Equitable World

logo Women's forumFor the third time, Sogeti and Capgemini have renewed our partnership with the Women’s Forum to promote equal opportunities to all men and women. This event gathers outstanding leaders from all over the world – women and men – representing business, governments, academia, arts & culture and beyond. Their aim is to encourage women’s contribution to society and promote diversity in the business world.

Confirmed speakers at the event include below:

  • Angel Gurria, Secretary General, OECD
  • Salma Hayek Pinault, actress and producer,Co-founder of Chime for Change and Member of the Kering Foundation’s Board of Directors
  • Christine Lagarde, Managing Director of the IMF
  • Maurice Lévy, Chairman of the Publicis Group

Sogeti and Capgemini will be represented by Hélène Chinal, Executive Director at Sogeti France, and Isabelle Roux-Chenu, Group General Counsel at Capgemini, who lead our Women@Capgemini program.

What we will be up to at the Women’s Forum:

Wednesday October 15, 16:30-17:15: Hackathon on Education
Sogeti and Capgemini, together with Jean-Michel Leclercq, Director of Strategic Partnerships from the CNED Institute (National Distance Learning Center), will be running a hackathon on education, with a digital hub about how we can help students from areas of deprivation to get back into learning.

Thursday October 16, 09:45-10:30: Master Class Connecting Hub - Tips and Tricks to Networking (Sponsored by Lenovo and Airbus)
Capgemini Consulting takes you on a journey into the wired world of networking with tips on how to get started. Help us get a fuller picture on the impact of networking by women by taking this short, 5 minute survey. You will receive a copy of the findings in November.

Friday October 17, 09:15-10:00: How Digital Contributes to a More Equal Education
We share the results of 48 hours of intensive thinking and inspiration around how to offer better access to education through digital. This is based on participants’ contributions to building the Proof of Concept that aims to advance the education cause.
