Sogeti develops document management system for European Investment Bank.

Background

EIB wanted to develop new applications and solutions (documentation generation, FAST, Team Site, etc), business analysis, interface & integration between SharePoint and OpenText content server10 Platform based solutions and content migration between the two. The project will also cover maintenance, support and development of SharePoint for EIB.

Solution

Sogeti implemented a document management system based on Live Link and SharePoint 2013. The purpose was to produce the foundations for a Project Management Information System that will bring the client’s governance processes up to the modern best practices of document and workflow management. Our work included design and implementation (including development of event receivers, custom forms, web templates, etc), application  lifecycle management, packaging and deployment.

Benefits

Sogeti proposed a flexible mixture of Time & Materials and Fixed Price consulting services  on SharePoint which optimized costs for the EIB. We also offered guarantee of service support for the EIB in SharePoint 2013 and ensured strategy between archiving system (OpenText) and collaborative tool (SharePoint).
