No more working in silos with Sogeti's collaboration platform implementation
Sogeti creates a collaborative platform for an American communications company.
The client wanted to implement synergy between all 80 of its subsidiaries and decided to establish a collaborative platform for the whole group, without imposing a technology choice or technical integration with the various subsidiaries. They were looking to have the Operational Platform accessible to all by enabling cooperation between the various subsidiaries.
Sogeti established a platform - IBM Connections (Widgets & customization) mode for Virtual Private Cloud. They also set up a self user registration, customized the colors of the platform holding, set up File Architecture and Security and tailored a plan to support training and communication for users in each subsidiary
The solution became a global platform to overcome the organizational silos separating the branches between them. The platform does not belong to a subsidiary and being seen as external, the adoption was faster.
The client is an American company that supplies services for command and control, communications, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C3ISR) systems and products, avionics, ocean products, training devices and services, instrumentation, space, and navigation products.
