Sogeti develops a Collaborative Platform for world’s premier advanced materials solutions providers.

Background

The client wanted to collaborate across their business segments for improving existing products and services or identifying opportunities for new products
and services. Their current internal portal / collaboration platform was not sufficient to support these needs.

Solution

The client chose Sogeti based on their relationship with IBM and the fact that Sogeti had implemented Connections internally. Sogeti was able to highlight their use of Connections as a way to support the implementation and adoption for the client. This included the creation of a PoC in the client’s environment.

Sogeti supported the client with the creation of the company’s business goals and objectives, priority areas of benefits to be realized, followed by the creation of use cases, training and adoption processes.

Benefits

The solution implemented by Sogeti accelerated the Financial close process by using the Action Plan capabilities and significant cross product / cross business segment collaboration. It also enabled networking with other individuals to exchange best practices and lessons learned.
