Ratingen, November 10, 2022 – Sogeti, a leading technology services provider, part of the Capgemini Group, today announced that it will be opening a new office in Dortmund, Germany. This expansion adds to Capgemini’s already established presence and will create additional employment opportunities in the area and provide market leading professional services to the local business community.

Sogeti’s new office will build on its existing presence in Germany. Daan Kroonen, previously Head of Cloud Services at Sogeti Netherlands, will head of operations in Dortmund and brings with him more than 15 years of experience in the technology industry. Sogeti in Dortmund is initially looking to hire about 100 employees with a particular focus on quality engineering and testing plus experts delivering Cloud and applications services with the purpose of providing market leading professional services to the local business community.

Dortmund is widely regarded as a digital and technology hub, as well as having a thriving business community. In 2021, Dortmund became the first German city to receive the European Commission’s iCapital Award as “Innovation Capital of Europe”. Sogeti will offer promising career prospects to the strong technology talent pool from the city’s leading universities, particularly for specialists in the areas of cloud, application development, DevOps, quality engineering and testing. As part of its integration into the community, Sogeti plans to work alongside local universities to counsel students about the various career prospects for graduates with technology expertise.
