Jean-Pierre Petit appointed CEO of Sogeti High Tech and Capgemini Group Leader for Digital Manufacturing
Paris, France, April 17th 2015 – Jean-Pierre Petit is appointed CEO of Sogeti High Tech, the Capgemini entity dedicated to Engineering Services and R&D Technology.

Jean-Pierre Petit is a SUPELEC graduate. He started his career in 1984 as a consultant within Andersen Consulting in charge of consulting and IT system integration, mainly for the industrial sector. He joined the Sagem Group in 1993 heading the R&D and cable manufacturing centre.
In 1999, Jean-Pierre was recruited by Capgemini Consulting, the Global Strategy and Transformation Consulting brand of the Capgemini Group, and given responsibility for the industry sector as well as R&D, logistics and manufacturing consulting activity.
After having managed the Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail and Energy-Utilities sectors with more than 3000 colleagues in France and a thousand in India and Morocco, Jean-Pierre was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Application Services in France, in January 2013.
As Chief Executive Officer of Sogeti High Tech, one of Jean-Pierre’s main goals will be to develop the Sogeti High Tech and Digital expertise to service large companies in the Industrial sector. He has also taken on the leadership of Digital Manufacturing for the Capgemini Group.
