The Royal Dutch Library goes digital with MS Azure.

Client challenge

With data delivery by public libraries a statutory duty in the Netherlands, the Dutch National Library Koninklijke Bibliotheek (KB), sought to become a digital library and create one network with local libraries across the country.

How we made value

Sogeti is making the Royal Dutch library a digital library for tomorrow with its Microsoft Azure cloud-based data and analytics services platform.

In less than seven months, Sogeti designed and built a transformational cloud-based, near-real time, unified data platform. KB is now able to collect and link large amounts of data and exchange information across 80 different libraries and their customers.

Sogeti impact

We built the data warehouse in a Microsoft Azure cloud environment and offered the platform as a Software-as-a- Service (SaaS) solution for ease of use. We also developed a cloud-based data and analytics services platform specifically designed to help transform the libraries of today into digital libraries of tomorrow.

Unregistered visitor cookie	Cookies used to give to unregistered users a unique identifier in order to recognize them and to analyze how they use the website.
Analytic cookie	Cookies used to store URLs of the previous page visited, enabling to track users navigating from inside or from outside the website.
