Sogeti creates a Collaborative Platform for an Indian paint manufacturer

Sogeti helped an Asian paint manufacturer to leverage the power of IBM's collaboration platform Connections for better collaboration.

Background

The client had a double-digit growth for several years and wanted to retain their speed of development. For this, they wanted to accelerate innovation through all possible sources. As a first step, the client decided to integrate platforms with all the existing tools (SAP, Cognos, Quickr, Sametime) for all countries, and keep within the hierarchical view of the platforms.

Solution

Sogeti established a platform for IBM Connections, file architecture and security, source code of the    connectors, performance test results, support training    users and communication plan tailored to each country. The solution provided integration with SAP processes, HR information, Cognos (for collaboration around reporting), Quickr, Lotus Notes and Sametime (for transparent communication between different tools).
