Sogeti executes Test Process Improvement (TPI) assessment for a Swedish telecommunication services.
The client has started a transformation journey with the goal of improving its test process maturity in order to increase its cost efficiency and increase the quality of test services provided within the organization. The client turned to Sogeti to get third party assessment of their testing methodology and processes.
The engagement includes test management in development projects, specialized testing of SIM cards and testing of mobile terminals, both in the field and in client’s own test lab.
Sogeti used its proprietary Test Process Improvement (TPI) to gain an insight in to organization’s test process maturity and support improvement of the testing processes. TPI gives a repeatable measurability that can be used to follow-up on improvement changes. TPI assessment was carried out to analyze, on business unit level, current maturity level and the outcome served as the base for the transformation journey ahead. The assignment includes As-is analysis, benchmarking within the Telco domain and suggesting planning and driving improvement.
A number of improvement initiatives have been launched to increase the test efficiency and the quality of the test deliverables within the organization.
